PROGRAM OPTIONS

Clarksburg Coyotes Track & Field will offer a competitive option for those wanting to compete in track meets and a non-competitive option for those wanting to just receive quality training. Clarksburg Coyotes Track & Field fees for ALL athletes is $200.00 for the 2023 season if you register on or before February 19th (Early Bird Discount).  Registrations will be $225 starting February 20th. All competing athletes will need to purchase a uniform in addition to registration (Warms ups and other gear is optional). ABOUT CSA TRACK & FIELD:

We are excited to get our 2023 Track and Field season started. Clarksburg Coyotes Track & Field is dedicated to developing youth track and field athletes in the Clarksburg, MD area.

  • Our goal is to develop the whole athlete by encouraging self-discipline, self-esteem, and high moral standards through track and field.
  • We believe the sport of Track & Field provides not only a vehicle for physical activity, but also intellectual and emotional growth through the promotion of teamwork, sportsmanship, and the spirit of competition.
  • We will strive to provide a memorable experience that will be fun, rewarding, and challenging.
  • We will proudly represent Clarksburg Coyotes Track & Field for generations to come.

 

NOTE TO ALL PARTICIPANTS

First day of track practice will be Monday, March 6th from 6:00 - 7:30pm at Clarksburg HS.  The regular season runs through the end of May. Athletes that plan on competing in the national qualifying meets (post season) will continue to practice into June in preparation for the district meet, (2nd weekend in June), regionals, (4th weekend in June), and nationals (last weekend in July)

Practices are held each Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 6:00 - 7:30pm at the Clarksburg High School Track or the Rocky Hill Middle School Athletic Field (calendar to follow). Meets are held on Saturdays and Sundays in April, May, and June, at various locations throughout the Washington, DC Metro area.

 
COMPETITION:

Clarksburg Coyotes Track & Field participates in AAU sanctioned events.  Each athlete may compete in a maximum of three or four events per meet depending on age group. Additionally, no more than three (3) of the four events can be running events.
